Ok, so we all know that money does not buy happiness. But on World of Warcraft, gold can sure make game easier. A flying mount costs nearly 1k gold. An epic flying mount costs 5 times that! Want powerLevel the manual dexterity to make the new epic sword or bow? Without a large amount of gold, forget it!
I have leveled 6 characters to 70, each with their own epic flyer, and lots of gold to spare. The truth is that gold does not have to take a long time to achieve, especially at higher lvl's. Throughout my WoW career "there are a few things I do that generate lots of gold in the shortest time possible. Note: these tips are not there to replace the WoW guides, only to expand them. Here they are:
1) Focus. If you are in a "gold farming "" session ", nothing can hinder the results of the lack of attention. Helping a guildie with a side quest, or building dancing train in Ironforge for a screenshot will not get the gold. Yes, it can be fun, but want to get rich is not it?
2) Finish all levels posts 70 missions. This can not only be fun, but it is a great way to earn quick money. Get a guildie or friend to finish all the "surplus" the missions in the hospital. Some missions just minutes with a friend and can earn anywhere from 15-30g per turn in gold plate a few hundred per hour is not known.
3) MINING. I know of no other profession that cane make the extraction of money. There are other professions that net a decent amount of money, but mining is incomparable. Adamantite goes for 30-40g a stack of Fel Iron goes for 20-30g a stack, not to mention all the green gems and blue, and the main products (earth and fire). A good hour mining run with a few blue gems and I am main products have won more than 500 g per hour. Sounds crazy, but it is very feasible with a flyer epic and whip. If your paladin aura Crusador, beware! Find a good mining route – pick a time off-peak, and they go crazy!
4) Arbitration Auction House. Some people are against this, but buying epics or rare blues at a low price and sell it for a higher amount MILES Net gold if done right. This is a bit risky, but once the hang of it you never look back. I have literally a few thousand gold within minutes. There are many guides out there that extend this idea. If you are interested in this tactic, get a money guide WoW. It is well worth it.
5) Shadowmoon Valley. If you do not have mining or brochure of your epic yet, there is nothing faster than grinding Sunfury in Shadowmoon Valley. Caen a lot of money, material, stamps Sunfury (1g each on the AH), and arcane tomes (10-20g at AH). People say they do their daily missions in terrokar or edge of the blade is faster, but I found the opposite is true. Finding a strategy to call these folks as quickly as possible. With my warlock, I was down 4-5 of these at the same time, without downtime. Needless to say I was 5000 richest gold after a few days and bought my first epic flyer. Good stuff.
