Do you find it a bit difficult at the level of your scalp? Perhaps thinking of throwing in the towel and pick up an "easier" profession?
Good, no! Fur can be a very rewarding profession, if you do well, and I will share some secrets with you something that will really help you out. I think you'll find nowhere near as hard as you thought it would be!
The first thing we absolutely need to do is peel as a second profession. Skinning can be very lucrative in itself, and combined with leather can be even more. Simply go to any Alliance / Horde starting zone and that's it, that will take some time to accrue all the skin you need. If you do this, you must buy all materials from the auction house, and that is expensive on any server. Doing the smart way and not sorry you did.
Fur is an amazing profession, because computers so that many different kinds. The druids, rogues, paladins, shamans … almost any class can wear leather! And this is great news for you, because it means that their services are in high demand! Try to offer their services throughout in Trade chat – people will come to respect and uphold if you charge a fair price for their time, and will at the same time! You may even try to offer a small monetary reward if the level of something that craft them.
Another great thing about leather is Legguards you can do. These are similar to those Spellthread a tailor can do, and are a kind of enchantment, as you can put in your legs. People pay big money for them, especially the high level, This should concentrate on doing this whenever possible. If you maintain a steady supply of them in the auction house, you will be able to do quite a bit of money of the solos.
As with most professions, making the real money is in late recipes. If you are 80 raider, you should try to get their hands on these whenever possible. If you get an addon called Atlas Loot, that a list of all the places from which these recipes fall of leather, so you can do its best to get them. Although competition is tough, so good luck! Do not worry if it takes a little time to get it – you'll be doing a lot gold from the sale of leather parts and equipment in the auction house!
